Maintenance Worker

Performs carpentry repairs of limited difficulty to buildings and quarters. Constructs, installs, repairs and replaces such items as doors, shelves, supply racks, hardware, frame structures, windows, trim and cabinets. Performs plumbing repairs of limited difficulty such as tightening or replacing in-kind fittings and fixtures which do not require custom fitting or solder joints. Removes trash and debris from roadsides. Cleans comfort stations, picnic areas, offices, and other public use areas. Performs grounds maintenance utilizing push mowers, weedeaters, riding mowers and all-terrain vehicles. Makes minor repairs to buildings and structures. Prepares surfaces for painting by sanding, buffing, and cleaning. Clears simple stoppages; replaces washers in faucets; cuts or drills previously marked holes and openings in walls or floors. Replaces fuses and light bulbs. Perform minor/routine maintenance while working with/assisting journeyman level employees in completing projects in painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical and utility systems. Operates motor vehicles weighing up to 10,000 GVW while carrying out duties of the position such as transporting debris, equipment, or personnel. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
